PVZ in the house (Plants Versus Zombies)

Listening to the Gamers with Jobs Podcast recently, I heard the crew mention how great they thought the game "Plants Vs. Zombies" is. They even mentioned Jeff Green, former editor of Games For Windows magazine was "addicted to it" and "played it all night to get unlocks." Jeff is not easily impressed and has a ton of gaming experience. I checked out the free trial and the game is indeed awesome. My 3 year old daughter even coached me on how to win which added to the overall cuteness and fun of the game.

It's not overly violent but has a nice challenge to it. There is a build cycle and a destroy phase which I enjoy. Of course, PopCap has learned from Peggle and the game has a lot of similar features as Peggle, but even funnier and awesome in PVZ.

So, if you haven't played PVZ, yet, go download the free trial, play it for an hour and see if you don't want to buy the game for only $19.95 digital download.
